Trust it or not, Justin Bieber did not play a role in Selena Gomez and The Weeknd's breakup. The Weekend was the one who decided to end up with 10-month romance with Gomez, and he did so simply because his relationship no longer had the same spark when he started dating, TMZ reported.
The R & B singer dumped Gomez in a phone call several weeks ago, insiders said the celebrity gossip website, but the things summer since the right time The stars reportedly did not spend much time with their busy, conflicting schedules.
Very soon after the photos of Gomez with her on-again, off-again ex, Bibber, emerged online. But they did not hang out again until after and The Weekend broke up, TMZ reported.
Gomez, 25, and The Weeknd - whose real name is Abel Tesfaye started dating in January. They were first spotted together that month when the paparazzi photographers snapped them after a kiss in Santa Monica.
Bieber and Gomez dated intermittently between 2011 and 2015. They were photographed getting brunch together.
Bieber, 23, is apparently interested in dating Gomez once again.
"He hopes to regain his trust so they can get back together," a source told People magazine.
